Yesterday it was 34 degrees so we hopped in the car and headed down to the South Shore. Of course we popped by Dots and Loops for a little visit while we were in Lunenburg.
(Dots and Loops - too bad you can’t get a better look at their window display)
Melanie was out, but we had an excellent conversation with the new employee from Montreal. We visited all of the wonderful new products and of course my jewels.
Next we hit up the Hebb Family Farm in Hebbville for some groceries (including more strawberries). Finally we stopped just outside of Mahone Bay for a BBQ and a dip.
(The picnic basket my brother bought me with my beloved Andy Warhol plates)
(Scotty and Olive take a dip)
(Olive loves kettle chips)
Olive was in her glory: Two swims in one day not to mention treats!
A lovely day and a refreshing way to combine business with pleasure.
Happy Canada Day.
