Oh boy. It's been a while.
Of course there have been a million things swirling around in the whirlwind since I last wrote, and one of them is my class! We're having a pretty darn good time down there at the pristine NSCCD studios on Monday nights and projects are moving steadily along. Christina is coming in on our last class to do a photo shoot of the final outcome as a parting gift to everyone and I think we are going to have some pretty diverse and fantastic works to shoot!
The Toronto One of a Kind Show date is swiftly approaching and I am attempting to get all of my ducks in a row. Preparations are underway and production is a go. I'll be meeting several lovely ladies who are also heading to Toronto at the end of March to discuss travel and sleeping arrangements tomorrow. Halifax is representing, as always!
Last night I got word that my Grants to Individuals application has been fully funded by Arts Nova Scotia! This means that I am on my way to Minneapolis, Minnesota at the end of April for the Society of North American Goldsmiths Conference, From Grains to Gold. Pretty exciting stuff! I'd better head to the library and pick up a travel guide to Minneapolis right now!
